The “Nao Yoshioka Tokyo Funk Sessions 2022” Blue Note Tokyo live-streaming video was released on YouTube in February 2022. As of December 2022, the video has received over 2.5 million views and continues to grow, with over 1,600 comments from around the world positively cheering Nao Yoshioka’s performance and the quality of the band’s performance and music. Most of the audience at Nao Yoshioka’s sold-out shows in the Netherlands and the UK came to the shows after watching the videos. Tokyo’s funk sessions are attracting audiences worldwide.
Jun Miyakawa, an up-and-coming keyboardist who also supports Takuya Kuroda and millennium parade, is the music director of the band, which includes a horn section. Funk. The sound is polished to the highest quality, maintaining the realism of a live performance, and will bring a gorgeous new year’s celebration.
